When I do leg raises , bicycles kicks or flutter kick on my back I can feel it working my lower abs !!


Sorry “no you can’t”, don’t get me wrong i am not saying you don’t have lower abs , of course you do . However, you cannot train them on their own. Muscles “work” with a very simple rule: all or nothing and by that I mean they are working or not. In these exercises, what you are actually feeling is a muscle behind your abs called your psoas . Theses sort of exercises do not improve your abs lower or otherwise.
